Welcome to the Bakery at Ancona's Market

 

Your senses will surge with the aroma of freshly baked breads and pastries

as you enter Ancona's. Every day we offer a wide range of different

artisanal breads, muffins, croissants, cookies and pies

baked right in our European ovens.

 

In an age of short cuts and frozen dough, our bakers take great pride

in their from scratch breads made with simple,

natural ingredients the way bread has been made for centuries.

Our house label identifies the breads and other

baked products that we make in house from scratch.

 

For years we've scratch baked French, Italian and ciabatta breads from

simple, natural ingredients like unbleached flour, salt and yeast.

 

More recent additions to our selection include our line of organic breads including our whole egg challah, stone hearth levain, and our sun gold breads.

 

Stone Hearth Bread

Made from organic bread flour, salt and water,

the leavening agent is our own sourdough ferment.

 

Whole Egg Challah

We hand braid six strands of rich egg dough to

get the traditional challah shape.

 

Sun Gold

This is a rich, sweet bread enriched with sunflower and

flax seeds and sweetened with honey.

Freshly brewed coffee, a freshly baked muffin or croissant...

it's the perfect way to start the morning.

 

Everyday we bake croissants, muffins and danish.

On the weekends we roll out the "big spread"

- if you're in early you can get them hot out of the oven!
